I have held senior roles in several MedTech companies during more than 30 years working in the life sciences industry. I was CEO of Tissue Science Laboratories (TSL), and took the company from a start-up into an international business floated on the London Stock Exchange. Since TSL was sold in 2008 to Covidien, I have acted as a Chairman, non-executive director, investor and mentor to a wide range of dynamic companies in the UK and Europe.
I'm currently Chairman of
SkinBioTherapeutics and
Videregen, and I am also the Medtech Industry Engagement Advisor to the
National Institute for Health Research. I am involved with a number of other institutions working in the life sciences space, for example as a Board member on the Imperial College Department of Bioengineering’s Industrial Advisory Board and a member of the Imperial Technology Experts Service (ITES).
